Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year based on experience
Schedule: 8 hour shifts Sunday - Thursday

OPI Houston is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to join our residential treatment team in Needville, TX. In this full-time, on-site role, you’ll play a vital role in guiding young adults ages 18–28 through trauma recovery, identity development, and emotional growth.
As a therapist at OPI Houston, you’ll provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed practices. You’ll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, engage families through coaching and support, and help clients build the skills they need to thrive beyond treatment. OPI Houston empowers clients ages 18–28 to become strong, self-sufficient, and positively influential in their own lives and communities. Through a blend of therapies—including CBT, equine-assisted therapy, and family and individual counseling—we support healing from trauma and attachment wounds. Our approach integrates trauma-informed modalities, life skills, identity development, and family systems work to foster lasting growth. Clients live in program-leased apartments in Stafford, TX, designed to provide a serene, supportive environment just minutes from Houston.
Embrace a collaborative team approach with weekly 1:1s, group supervision, and treatment team meetings.
Plan, implement, and adjust individualized treatment courses, ensuring client-centered care.
Conduct family, group, and 1:1 therapy sessions, driving therapeutic progress with evidence-based practices.
Maintain regular communication with families, providing parent coaching and support.
Maintain timely documentation, adhere to treatment standards, and oversee program completion and discharge plans.
Ensure compliance with state laws on documentation, reporting, confidentiality, and working with government agencies.
