Are you a persuasive relationship‑builder who thrives in a consultative sales role and wants your work to truly change lives?

As an Admissions Counselor at OPI Houston, you serve as both the first point of contact for families seeking care and a key sales driver for the program. This outward‑facing role blends empathy with persuasion, requiring strong networking skills, comfort with travel, and the ability to confidently sell the value and outcomes of the program. You’ll cultivate referral relationships, guide prospects through the admissions funnel, and convert leads into enrollments, often working with families in crisis. If you’re energized by results, relationship‑based sales, and meaningful impact, this role offers all three.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a consultative sales professional, converting inquiries and referrals into qualified admissions
  • Build and maintain strong referral relationships through networking, outreach, tours, and in‑person meetings
  • Confidently present and “sell” the program’s clinical model, outcomes, and value to families and partners
  • Guide prospective clients and families through screening, intake, and enrollment with urgency and care
  • Assess clinical and financial fit while adhering to all admissions policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation and activity tracking in CRM and EMR system
  • Consistently meet or exceed lead conversion, admissions, and enrollment targets

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Preferred experience in behavioral health admissions, healthcare sales, or consultative sales roles
  • Proven ability or strong aptitude for relationship‑based selling and networking
  • Comfort engaging with families and professionals in emotionally charged, high‑stakes situations
  • Willingness to travel locally and represent the program at meetings, tours, and events
  • Goal‑oriented, persuasive, and motivated by measurable results

Benefits

  • Access to an established Mastery Program that offers professional and financial opportunities for professional growth.
  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance – Multiple plan options including PPO and HDHPs with HSA eligibility and company contributions.
  • Paid Parental Leave – Up to 6 weeks fully paid for exempt employees and 4 weeks for non-exempt.
  • Life & Disability Coverage – Company-paid life, AD&D, and long-term disability; voluntary life and optional short-term disability available.
  • 401(k) with Company Match – Retirement savings with matching contributions after eligibility period.
  • PTO & Holidays – Competitive PTO accrual plans and paid holidays throughout the year.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – Free, confidential support for life’s challenges.
